The glass panel attaches to the front of the LCD Display Assembly and protects the LCD panel.
So clear it’s like looking at your glossy display through…well, glass.
Technically, it’s not true glass, but rather a more durable type of plexiglass, just like your Unibody MacBook Pro came with from the factory.
Heat activated adhesive strips come attached.
