This piece measures 10″ tall and will stand on either end.
Folks, I think I picked this up in Zambia. You see, back in 1993 I was sent there to cure the economic ills of a struggling grain market. As I moved about the country learning all about bloated State Owned Mill Enterprises competing with 40,000 trailer hammer mills I bought wood carvings to help the artists. I never really knew if we solved the crisis but I did helped a lot of wood carvers.
In this particular case the woman selling the carving explained it would bring me many children. She said that was a good thing because I was so handsome and the world needed handsome folks. It was then that I knew she was lying.
